J's Garden Commercial Space

j's garden Commercial space is an innovative commercial interior design project that masterfully integrates two distinct business operations - a baking classroom and a hair salon - within a single harmonious environment. Located in Taipei, Taiwan, this 8700mm x 16500mm x 3200mm space exemplifies sophisticated spatial planning through its semi-permeable design approach, which allows for both separation and connectivity between different functional areas. The design's centerpiece is a garden concept featuring a glass greenhouse that serves as an elegant spatial divider while maintaining visual continuity throughout the interior. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2018, demonstrates exceptional attention to environmental psychology and user experience. The design employs pure and simple materials alongside strategic placement of green elements to create a home-like atmosphere that promotes comfort and natural living. The innovative use of lattice glass windows extending from the entrance to the ceiling facilitates dynamic interaction between interior and exterior spaces, while carefully planned circulation patterns enable smooth transitions between different functional zones. The design successfully addresses the technical challenges of managing different operational requirements, including sound isolation and odor control, through thoughtful architectural solutions. The space incorporates a shared concept that encourages social interaction and community building, featuring common areas that serve as gathering points for visitors from different backgrounds, ultimately fulfilling its vision as a multifunctional commercial environment that fosters both practical functionality and social connectivity.
