JNGL By Progress Kids Center

JNGL By Progress Kids Center is an innovative children's educational and recreational facility located in Sofia, Bulgaria, designed as a complementary space to a corporate office environment. This multifunctional 800-square-meter facility, developed with a comprehensive jungle theme, serves children aged 3 to 16 through thoughtfully designed zones that seamlessly integrate learning, play, artistic expression, and performance activities. The architectural concept employs flexible spatial arrangements through movable walls and interactive furniture elements, allowing for dynamic space utilization while maintaining transparency through extensive glazed surfaces that optimize natural light flow. The design incorporates distinct thematic areas such as Crocodile Bay, Monkey Island, and Under the Starry Sky, each carefully crafted to support specific developmental activities while maintaining cohesive jungle-inspired aesthetics. The facility's innovative approach to children's spaces earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in combining functional design with educational purposes. The space features custom-designed children's games and interactive elements, including adaptable components that facilitate learning about emotions through play. Natural materials harmoniously blend with vibrant colors throughout the environment, while child-safety considerations and age-appropriate design elements ensure a secure and engaging atmosphere for all users. The project, completed in 2018, demonstrates exceptional attention to spatial psychology and childhood development principles, creating an environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction while serving as a model for modern children's facility design.
