Jizhou Optometry Clinic

Jizhou Optometry Clinic

Jizhou Optometry Clinic is an innovative medical facility design project completed in 2022, encompassing 877 square meters of thoughtfully crafted interior space that seamlessly integrates healthcare functionality with artistic expression. The design philosophy draws inspiration from Confucian principles of kindheartedness and justice, manifesting in a sophisticated architectural narrative that employs circular motifs and dynamic visual elements throughout the space. The clinic's distinctive design features an eye-shaped centerpiece that serves as both a functional and symbolic element, complemented by a harmonious color palette that creates a welcoming medical environment. The interior architecture demonstrates exceptional attention to detail through its implementation of seven interconnected circular forms that establish natural flow patterns, while incorporating sustainable materials including wood, customized leather furnishings, and strategic placement of green elements. This award-winning design, recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases a revolutionary approach to healthcare facility design by balancing professional medical requirements with commercial appeal. The project's unique integration of transparent facades, custom trial frame models, and sophisticated ceiling treatments creates a multi-layered spatial experience that enhances patient comfort while maintaining clinical efficiency. The design successfully addresses the complex challenge of combining medical functionality, artistic expression, and commercial viability, resulting in a space that not only serves its primary purpose as an optometry clinic but also elevates the patient experience through thoughtful environmental design.
