Jazz Shower is an innovative and artistically conceived bathroom fixture that reimagines the traditional shower design through a musical instrument-inspired form factor, specifically drawing inspiration from the trumpet. This avant-garde sanitary ware design, created by British designer Vlad Mititelu, represents a harmonious fusion of functional design and artistic expression, earning recognition with a Golden A' Design Award in the Bathroom Furniture and Sanitary Ware Design category. The design features meticulous craftsmanship with a distinctive copper wire covering applied manually, making each piece unique within its limited edition of 50 units. Standing at 1240mm in height, with a width of 310mm and depth of 240mm, the shower's proportions are optimized for practical installation in various bathroom spaces. The fixture incorporates sophisticated dual-handle controls positioned along the trumpet valves, featuring intuitive hot and cold water indicators through subtle red and blue markings. The design's hydrophobic surface treatment ensures both ease of maintenance and user safety. The shower's construction involves a combination of copper pipes and custom-cast acrylic resin components, particularly in the trumpet bell section, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail in its manufacturing process. This design emerged from a unique conceptual approach that bridges the sensory experience of music and water, challenging conventional bathroom fixture aesthetics while maintaining full functionality.
