Itsso Slimtissue Tissue Package

Itsso Slimtissue Tissue Package

Itsso Slimtissue Tissue Package is an innovative packaging design solution that revolutionizes the traditional concept of tissue packaging through its distinctive cylindrical form factor and environmentally conscious approach. Designed by Hyung-Woo Park, this premium tissue case represents a significant departure from conventional square tissue boxes, featuring a slim, bamboo-inspired cylindrical design that measures 68 x 180mm and weighs approximately 80g. The design's sophisticated aesthetic draws inspiration from bamboo stems, incorporating curved lids and recessed details that echo the natural segmentation of bamboo, while the tissue itself is crafted from 100% bamboo pulp, emphasizing its eco-friendly credentials. The product's 360-degree printable surface enables comprehensive branding opportunities, while its slim profile is specifically engineered to fit vehicle cup holders, enhancing its portability and everyday utility. The design demonstrates exceptional versatility in its post-consumer phase, offering more than 50 different repurposing options, including use as storage containers, pencil holders, flower pots, and various other functional applications. This innovative approach to tissue packaging, which earned the Silver A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, challenges industry conventions while addressing practical considerations of storage, transportation, and environmental sustainability. The design's success lies in its ability to balance aesthetic appeal with functional efficiency, incorporating high-quality specialty paper construction that ensures durability while maintaining its premium positioning in the market.
