Istanbul Gokturk Villa

Istanbul Gokturk Villa

Istanbul Gokturk Villa is an exemplary residential project that masterfully integrates traditional town-style architecture with contemporary luxury design principles, situated in Istanbul, Turkey. This 450-square-meter, three-story residence, completed in 2022, represents a sophisticated blend of cultural heritage and modern living requirements, featuring two living rooms and seven bedrooms thoughtfully distributed across its floors. The villa's design philosophy emphasizes the harmonious connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, utilizing natural materials such as grained oak flooring, Iroko wood for exterior elements, and elegant marble finishes throughout. The interior design scheme employs a refined palette of neutral greys complemented by vibrant furniture pieces and dynamic artwork, while bronze metal accents add sophisticated detail to the overall aesthetic. The property underwent extensive restoration to address structural challenges in its 40-year-old framework, including comprehensive solutions for water damage and insulation issues, ultimately preserving and enhancing its architectural integrity. Notable design elements include a welcoming entrance featuring custom yellow fabric furnishings, innovative lighting solutions incorporating ceiling light wells for adjustable ambiance, and specialized zones for entertainment and leisure, including a basement level equipped with a gym and bar area. The project, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional space utilization and attention to detail, establishing new standards in residential design through its thoughtful integration of functionality, aesthetics, and cultural sensitivity.
