IPlant Flower Pot
iPlant Flower Pot is an innovative smart planting solution that revolutionizes traditional plant care through integrated Internet of Things (IoT) technology and intelligent sensors. Developed by designers Arvin Maleki and Ayda Mohseni, this futuristic flower pot incorporates an advanced water supply system that ensures plant survival for up to one month without human intervention. The design, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Futuristic Design category, features sophisticated sensors that monitor crucial plant health indicators including soil nutrient composition, moisture levels, and overall plant wellness. Standing 19 centimeters in height with a radius of 12.5 centimeters, the pot employs a groundbreaking irrigation system that delivers water directly to the plant roots, optimizing water consumption and plant health. The system's intelligent components communicate with a dedicated mobile application, providing real-time notifications and updates about plant status, making it particularly valuable for individuals without extensive agricultural knowledge. This innovative approach to plant care addresses contemporary environmental concerns while democratizing successful plant cultivation in both home and office environments. The design represents a significant advancement in sustainable living solutions, combining technological sophistication with practical functionality to create a more accessible and efficient approach to indoor plant cultivation.
