Infrared Lamp Fixtures

Infrared Lamp Fixtures

Infrared lamp fixtures are devices that emit infrared radiation, which is a form of electromagnetic radiation that has longer wavelengths than visible light. These fixtures are commonly used for heating, drying, and curing applications in various industries, including food processing, automotive, and healthcare. Infrared lamp fixtures are designed to produce heat by converting electrical energy into infrared radiation, which is then absorbed by the objects or surfaces in the vicinity of the fixture. The construction of an infrared lamp fixture typically consists of a reflector, a lamp holder, and a lamp. The reflector is usually made of polished aluminum or stainless steel and is designed to direct the infrared radiation towards the target area. The lamp holder is the component that holds the lamp in place and provides electrical connections. The lamp itself is usually a quartz tube filled with a tungsten filament that emits infrared radiation when heated. Infrared lamp fixtures are available in various shapes and sizes, depending on the specific application. Some fixtures are designed to be mounted on walls or ceilings, while others are portable and can be moved around as needed. Additionally, some fixtures are equipped with timers and temperature controllers to provide precise control over the heating process. Overall, infrared lamp fixtures are a versatile and efficient way to provide localized heating for a wide range of industrial applications. They are easy to install, require minimal maintenance, and can provide significant energy savings compared to other heating methods.
