Infinity Vessel Crown

Infinity Vessel Crown

Infinity Vessel Crown is an innovative and philosophically profound piece of wearable art that represents a groundbreaking fusion of haute couture fashion and traditional glassmaking techniques. Created by Finnish glass artist Sini Majuri, this bespoke glass crown embodies the delicate balance between human fragility and strength through its crystalline form. Each crown is meticulously crafted using a combination of traditional mouth-blown glass techniques and cutting-edge 3D scanning technology, ensuring a perfect fit for its intended wearer through precise measurements and customization. The design, which garnered recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Fine Arts and Art Installation Design category, makes a powerful statement about transparency in power structures while celebrating individual uniqueness. The crown's dimensions, typically measuring 25 x 25 x 25 centimeters, are carefully calibrated to each wearer's specifications, making every piece a unique creation. The artistic significance of the work lies in its dual symbolism - the transparent glass material represents both vulnerability and resilience, while the crown form itself challenges traditional notions of authority and power. This remarkable piece exemplifies the intersection of contemporary design innovation and traditional craftsmanship, showcasing how modern technology can enhance centuries-old glassblowing techniques to create deeply personal artistic expressions.
