Il Pausa House Private Home

Il Pausa House Private Home is an architecturally distinctive residential project completed in 2022 in Jakarta, Indonesia, exemplifying innovative parametric design principles and contemporary architectural excellence. This remarkable private residence, designed by architect Revano Satria, demonstrates a sophisticated interplay between accessibility, efficiency, and productivity through its geometric morphology and thoughtfully conceived spatial relationships. The structure's most striking feature is its grand entrance, which creates a compelling visual division at street level, while its facade incorporates a series of calculated geometric and sculptural interventions that maximize the occupants' lifestyle requirements. The design employs an advanced parametric-based system for both geometry and structure, with particular attention paid to optimizing natural light distribution through detailed solar analysis, especially on the eastern and western facades. The 20,000 x 30,000 x 8,000 mm structure successfully balances visual uniqueness with conventional cultural requirements, incorporating professional workspace without compromising residential functionality. The project, which took six years to complete, showcases innovative construction techniques and demonstrates exceptional attention to environmental performance through its carefully calculated facade openings, which respond to view axes, occupant height, and natural light distribution. The interior spaces feature fluid transitions both horizontally and vertically, creating a harmonious living environment that earned recognition with a Golden A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, acknowledging its significant contribution to contemporary residential architecture.
