Ikona Maxxi Pure Extraction Hood And Purifier
Ikona Maxxi Pure Extraction Hood and Purifier is an innovative dual-function home appliance that seamlessly integrates an extraction hood with an air purification system, designed to enhance indoor air quality in modern living spaces. This sophisticated appliance, created by Italian designer Fabrizio Crisa, represents a significant advancement in kitchen ventilation technology, earning recognition with a Platinum A' Design Award in the Home Appliances Design category. The design addresses the contemporary challenge of maintaining air quality in open-plan living spaces where kitchens and living areas merge, featuring a Combo Pure Filter system that combines HEPA and charcoal filtration to capture particles as small as 1 micron. Operating at a remarkably quiet 37 dBA in Super Silent mode, the appliance offers exceptional versatility with multiple installation options including duct-out or filtering modes, wall-mounted or hanging configurations, and left or right-sided positioning. The unit's dimensions of 1198 mm x 440 mm x 1210 mm accommodate various spatial requirements, while its construction utilizing stainless steel and ABS ensures durability and aesthetic appeal. Distinguished by its intuitive touch control interface and smart alert system for filter maintenance, this appliance eliminates the need for separate air purification devices, demonstrating a thoughtful approach to both functionality and space efficiency. The design's significance is further emphasized by its ability to operate the hood and purifier functions independently, maintaining optimal performance in both modes while contributing to the overall aesthetic harmony of contemporary living spaces.
