Iffco Egypt Head Office Office

Iffco Egypt Head Office Office is an award-winning contemporary workplace design project that exemplifies the seamless integration of modern functionality with Egyptian cultural elements. Located in Cairo, Egypt, this innovative office space transformation, completed in 2020, represents a sophisticated approach to corporate interior design that prioritizes employee comfort, productivity, and aesthetic excellence. The design, conceived and executed by renowned Egyptian designer Mona Hussein, masterfully balances open-plan workspaces with private areas, accommodating 64 workstations and 11 managerial offices across its layout. The project's distinctive features include strategically incorporated Egyptian motifs, such as vertically and horizontally arranged coin-inspired elements that create artistic installations reminiscent of ancient Egyptian artworks. The interior space employs advanced acoustic solutions, including wool ceiling treatments, Forbo flotex carpets, and Knauf VIDI walls with high-strength gypsum fiber boards, ensuring optimal sound management in the open-plan environment. The design's color palette draws inspiration from corporate identity elements while maintaining a bright, modern aesthetic that promotes workplace wellness. Natural light plays a crucial role in the space's ambiance, complemented by carefully preserved ceiling heights and integrated greenery. The project, which garnered a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2021, demonstrates exceptional space utilization, incorporating seven meeting rooms and various collaborative areas that foster creativity and professional engagement. The design successfully overcame budget constraints while delivering a unique, functional environment that harmoniously blends contemporary office requirements with cultural authenticity.
