Hyeto Tea Package

Hyeto Tea Package

Hyeto Tea package is an innovative tea packaging design that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of Oriental and Western tea traditions, created by designers Hisu Jeong, Albert Kim, and Jiin Kim. This sophisticated packaging system, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, features a modular design approach with individual cases measuring 44x32x22mm that can be combined in various configurations. The design's aesthetic draws inspiration from the golden crown of the Shilla period, incorporating a distinctive jewel ornament symbolizing both a tree and an embracing gesture, reflecting the concept of Teammunication - the art of communication through tea. The packaging system includes a comprehensive sampler gift set measuring 370x230x55mm, which accommodates 12 different tea varieties and includes a complementary tea tray. Each individual tea case is thoughtfully sealed with food-safe materials to preserve flavor integrity and ensure optimal hygiene. The design philosophy emphasizes the natural essence of tea, featuring 100% natural ingredients and promoting a deeper connection with nature through the tea-drinking experience. The packaging's innovative approach extends beyond mere functionality, incorporating color therapy principles and health benefits while maintaining a careful balance between traditional and modern design elements. This award-winning design represents a significant achievement in packaging innovation, demonstrating excellence in both aesthetic appeal and practical functionality while addressing contemporary consumer needs for premium tea experiences.
