Humming Bird Salad Dressing Set

Humming Bird Salad Dressing Set

Humming Bird Salad Dressing Set is an innovative and aesthetically sophisticated culinary accessory that revolutionizes the traditional approach to oil and vinegar dispensing through its unique combination of scientific precision and artistic design. Created by designers Clive and Tina Bullivant, this elegant table centerpiece seamlessly merges functionality with decorative appeal, featuring bird-formed pipettes that operate similarly to laboratory droppers for precise liquid dispensing. The design, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design category, comprises a stainless steel base supporting blown glass bulbs that each hold 200ml of liquid, complemented by clear polycarbonate hangers and injection-molded colored silicon body pods on the pipettes. Standing at 300mm in height with a 200mm square footprint, the set's sophisticated construction employs high-quality materials that bring a contemporary touch to classical dining aesthetics. The design's inspiration draws from natural forms and laboratory equipment, resulting in a unique synthesis that delivers both precise functionality and sculptural beauty. The innovative dispensing mechanism allows for accurate portioning of oil and vinegar, eliminating messy residue while maintaining an elegant dining experience. The design's emphasis on ergonomic handling and efficient operation, combined with its visually striking appearance, represents a significant advancement in culinary implement design, offering both practical utility and artistic merit for modern dining settings.
