Huiqi Office Interior Space Design

Huiqi Office Interior Space Design

Huiqi Office Interior Space Design is an innovative interior architectural project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of Chinese spatial philosophy with contemporary design principles, executed within a compact office environment measuring 19520mm x 10500mm x 3200mm. The design's distinctive approach leverages the space's longest diagonal as a primary visual axis to create multiple layered perspectives, effectively expanding the perceived spatial dimensions through sophisticated depth manipulation. Incorporating traditional Chinese geomantic principles, the layout positions the manager's office near the entrance while situating the meeting room in the innermost area, creating a thoughtful progression of space that enhances both functionality and cultural resonance. The design employs carefully selected materials including stoving varnish board, veneer, floor tile, volakas white marble, and textile elements to create subtle textural contrasts and visual interest. Drawing inspiration from Chinese landscape design principles and Scarpa's detailed joinery techniques, the space achieves remarkable depth through the strategic implementation of deep-shallow relationships, height variations, and anterior-posterior spatial arrangements. The project, recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional expertise in space optimization through its innovative use of manual wooden veneer techniques, creating seamless wall modeling with 20mm thickness that maintains visual integrity while enhancing spatial perception. The design's success lies in its ability to foster team cohesion and development through interconnected spatial zones, while simultaneously addressing the challenge of making a modest space feel expansive through sophisticated design interventions and thoughtful material selection.
