Huahong Tangyue Mansion

Huahong Tangyue Mansion

Huahong Tangyue Mansion is a distinguished interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of traditional Chinese aesthetics with contemporary spatial design principles. Located in eastern Zhejiang, this 325-square-meter real estate sales center, designed by Zhang Lijuan and Yang Song, masterfully integrates the surrounding natural landscape of mountains and sea into its architectural narrative. The design philosophy draws inspiration from traditional oriental elements while addressing modern lifestyle requirements, employing a sophisticated color palette of black, white, and gray, complemented by warm walnut wood accents. The space features innovative elements such as hollowed stainless steel screens that create dynamic spatial hierarchies, and a thoughtfully designed entrance screen that establishes an atmospheric transition through traditional garden architecture techniques. The project, completed in November 2020, incorporates unique design solutions such as water-drop-shaped decorative chandeliers in the sand table area to create an illusion of heightened space, while marble flooring and carefully curated ink paintings transform the interior into a three-dimensional landscape scroll. The design's excellence was recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its outstanding achievement in combining natural elements, cultural heritage, and modern functionality. The open layout seamlessly integrates garden landscapes into the interior space, with floral embellishments and natural scenery serving as connecting elements throughout, creating a fresh and natural atmosphere that reflects the project's commitment to bridging traditional Chinese elegance with contemporary design sensibilities.
