House 24 Residential Architecture is an exemplary residential project that masterfully transforms a challenging triangular plot into a sophisticated contemporary dwelling in Singapore, demonstrating exceptional architectural innovation and spatial planning. The design comprises two distinct blocks - a main building extending along the site's length and a master suite wing strategically angled to align with the main road, creating a harmonious V-shaped courtyard that serves as a private outdoor sanctuary. This Golden A' Design Award-winning architecture, completed in 2016, spans 715 square meters and showcases remarkable attention to environmental considerations and user comfort through its thoughtful orientation and material selection. The structure features a sophisticated combination of natural materials, including Roman travertine, American Walnut timber, and Accoya acetylated wood, while incorporating innovative elements such as a meticulously crafted timber screen façade that creates dynamic patterns of light and shadow throughout the day. The design's spatial arrangement demonstrates particular sensitivity to the tropical climate, with living and sleeping spaces positioned along the east side to avoid harsh afternoon sun exposure, while full-height sliding doors along the first-floor corridor facilitate passive cooling through natural ventilation.
