Hotel Home Residence

Hotel Home Residence

Hotel Home Residence is an exemplary residential interior design project completed in 2022, showcasing a sophisticated fusion of hospitality-inspired luxury and domestic comfort within a 290-square-meter space in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The design philosophy centers on translating the refined ambiance of high-end hotels into a functional family dwelling, achieved through meticulous space planning and material selection. The interior architecture features innovative solutions such as an arc-shaped ceiling that masterfully conceals structural elements while maximizing spatial height, particularly in the dining area. Distinguished by its thoughtful material palette, the design employs earth tones, premium wallpapers, stretch fabrics, and titanium-plated metal finishes to create an atmosphere of understated elegance. Notable design elements include a bespoke embedded wine cabinet that doubles as both storage and decorative feature, and adaptable children's room furnishings with removable geometric shelving that can evolve with the family's needs. The project demonstrates exceptional technical prowess in its integration of mechanical systems, particularly in the concealment of air conditioning units through strategic ceiling height variations. This residential masterpiece, which earned the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, exemplifies how sophisticated hotel aesthetics can be successfully adapted for residential spaces while maintaining practicality and comfort for daily family life.
