Homemade Cafe Snack Bar

Homemade Cafe Snack Bar

Homemade Cafe Snack bar is an innovative interior design concept that seamlessly integrates a premium cafe experience within a supermarket environment, exemplifying the evolution of modern retail dining spaces. Created by the Gravity Design Team, this 200-square-meter establishment represents a sophisticated approach to casual dining that harmoniously blends functionality with aesthetic appeal. The design philosophy emphasizes natural elements and creates a cozy atmosphere through thoughtfully selected materials including custom-made wooden furniture, handmade tiles, and a striking vertical green wall in the open-air area. The space features an efficient self-service food cart system while maintaining a premium ambiance through carefully curated design elements such as custom-made lighting fixtures, hand-knotted carpets, and a harmonious mixture of materials including sheet metal panels, fiber panels, white ceramics, and epoxy flooring. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional space utilization and material integration, creating an environment that successfully balances quick-service convenience with a relaxed dining atmosphere. The design particularly excels in its ability to create a natural refuge from urban chaos while maintaining a modern aesthetic, featuring a thoughtful layout that accommodates both casual dining and business meetings. The innovative use of diverse materials, including 60 square meters of sheet metal and fiber panels, 40 square meters of white ceramics, and 80 square meters of handmade tiles, contributes to a unique spatial experience that elevates the conventional concept of a cafe-supermarket integration.
