HK International Jewellery Show 2017 Entrance installations is an award-winning architectural and experiential design project that transformed the entrance spaces of a major international jewelry exhibition into immersive theatrical environments. The installation encompassed multiple entry points, including a dramatic 16.5-meter-wide by 4.8-meter-high illuminated facade at the main entrance and a spectacular 49-square-meter interior installation reaching 9 meters in height. Drawing inspiration from classic Hollywood glamour and iconic films, the design concept Tribute to the Movie Queens reimagined the exhibition space through sophisticated scenography and atmospheric elements. The installation utilized a combination of dramatic lighting, custom graphics, biodegradable carpeting, and carefully curated mannequin displays to create distinct themed zones that elevated the visitor experience. This innovative approach to exhibition design, which won an Iron A' Design Award in the Event and Happening Design category, successfully transformed a traditional sourcing fair into a marketing-focused show through its theatrical presentation and attention to spatial flow. The design's implementation required precise coordination to complete the complex installation within a challenging three-day setup period, demonstrating exceptional technical and logistical expertise. The project's success lay in its ability to create an interactive experience where visitors could engage with subtle cinematic references while maintaining a sophisticated atmosphere appropriate for a high-end jewelry exhibition.
