High Heel Church Lighting Design is an innovative architectural lighting installation that transforms a distinctive shoe-shaped church structure through sophisticated illumination techniques and interactive elements. Created by designers Chia Yu Lin and Hsin Mo Tsai, this remarkable lighting design project employs approximately 300,000 pieces of reflective glass elements and 101 lighting fixtures to create an immersive, galaxy-inspired visual experience. The installation, which garnered a Silver A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category, seamlessly integrates with the 17-meter-high, 11-meter-wide church structure, recognized by Guinness World Records as the largest building in the shape of shoes. The design addresses the community's need for enhanced nighttime visibility while creating a captivating public space that celebrates both natural and artificial light. Through careful calculation of light angles and the implementation of DMX Art-Net System technology, the installation creates dynamic lighting effects that transform the massive steel-framed structure into a celestial spectacle.
