Hermanas Candle Holders

Hermanas Candle Holders

Hermanas Candle holders is an innovative family of wooden lighting accessories designed by Spanish designer Maurizio Capannesi, comprising five distinct pieces that create a harmonious ensemble reminiscent of sisters, as reflected in their Spanish-inspired name Hermanas. This sophisticated lighting solution, which earned the Silver A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category, exemplifies a masterful blend of form and function through its thoughtfully varied heights and diameters, ranging from 35mm to 180mm in height and 90mm to 120mm in diameter. Crafted from premium turned beech wood, each piece undergoes meticulous craftsmanship to achieve its distinctive cylindrical form and is finished with carefully selected paint colors, allowing for personalized arrangements that complement diverse interior settings. The design's ingenuity lies in its ability to create the visual effect of different-sized candles while utilizing standard tealights, thereby combining aesthetic versatility with practical functionality. The collection's architectural composition enables users to create dynamic lighting arrangements, with each piece contributing to a cohesive visual narrative while maintaining its individual character. This innovative approach to candleholder design demonstrates exceptional consideration for both aesthetic appeal and practical application, offering a contemporary interpretation of traditional lighting accessories that enhances ambient illumination in residential and commercial spaces. The design's success lies in its ability to merge traditional craftsmanship with modern design sensibilities, creating a product that is both timeless and relevant to contemporary interior design needs.
