Heralbony Packaging is an innovative and socially conscious packaging design system that exemplifies the intersection of inclusive design, brand identity, and sustainable practices. Created as a comprehensive branding solution for an art-life brand featuring works by artists with intellectual disabilities, this packaging system employs a distinctive unified approach through the exclusive use of a carefully selected blue paper, chosen from over 9,000 varieties of Japanese paper products. The design's significance lies in its thoughtful incorporation of blue, the symbolic color of World Autism Day, establishing a meaningful connection to its social mission. The packaging system encompasses various product containers including tie packages, coin purses, wallets, watch boxes, handkerchief packages, gift boxes, and shopping bags, all unified through a minimalist approach of single-point foil stamping. This strategic design decision not only maintains a consistent brand aesthetic but also optimizes production costs while preserving premium quality. The system features a horse-motif logo mark and a unique logotype derived from authentic diary entries, adding personal significance to the visual identity. Recognized for its excellence with a Silver A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, this design solution demonstrates how thoughtful material selection and strategic constraints can result in sophisticated, cost-effective branding that serves both commercial and social purposes.
