Hen Olive Oil Dispenser

Hen Olive Oil Dispenser

Hen Olive Oil Dispenser is an innovative and aesthetically refined ceramic vessel designed specifically for gourmet olive oil storage and dispensing, representing a harmonious blend of form and function in contemporary packaging design. This sophisticated container, conceived and developed in Spain, features a distinctive hen-shaped silhouette that pays homage to traditional Spanish craftsmanship while incorporating modern sustainability principles. The dispenser, measuring approximately 125mm in length, 150mm in height, and 85mm in width, offers a thoughtfully calculated capacity of 365 milliliters, symbolically corresponding to each day of the year. Its most notable technical innovation lies in its integrated opening and closing mechanism, featuring a pioneering stopper design that enables hermetic sealing and precise pouring through a simple twisting motion, eliminating the conventional need for removal during use. The product exemplifies sustainable design principles through its use of locally sourced ceramic materials from Andalusia and the Spanish Levant, complemented by recycled plastics in its functional components. The design incorporates sophisticated engineering elements, including a double anti-drip and oil return system, while maintaining an ergonomic grip that enhances user experience. This product, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to cultural heritage while addressing contemporary concerns for sustainability and user-centered design. The development process, spanning from mid-2021 to early 2022, involved extensive research, prototyping, and collaboration with local artisans, resulting in a product that successfully balances aesthetic appeal with practical functionality.
