Heart Plate Smart Plate

Heart Plate Smart Plate is an innovative smart dining solution that integrates health monitoring capabilities with everyday tableware, representing a significant advancement in the intersection of dining technology and personal health management. This futuristic plate design, created by designer Nikola Vucicevic, incorporates Body Mass Index (BMI) pads on both sides that enable users to obtain real-time health metrics through simple thumb contact. The device features sophisticated sensor technology capable of measuring various health parameters including heart rate, blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and temperature, displaying this information both on an integrated screen and via Bluetooth connectivity to mobile devices. The plate's dimensions of 279mm x 279mm x 43mm make it suitable for standard dining settings while accommodating the necessary technological components. Constructed using ceramics and incorporating solar panels for power sustainability, the plate seamlessly integrates Arduino Uno electronics and Bluetooth connectivity to facilitate data transmission. This Silver A' Design Award-winning creation in the Futuristic Design category represents a paradigm shift in smart kitchenware, offering users the ability to share their health data with healthcare providers, personal trainers, or medical professionals through a dedicated mobile application. The plate's innovative approach to combining daily dining habits with health monitoring demonstrates the growing trend toward interconnected smart devices in everyday life, particularly in promoting health awareness and dietary management.
