Harmony Residence

Harmony Residence

Harmony Residence is an award-winning residential interior design project that exemplifies the sophisticated integration of art collection display within living spaces, completed in 2020 in Taiwan. The 377-square-meter residence masterfully blends Eastern and Western design philosophies, featuring a distinctive horseshoe circulation plan that transforms traditional residential layout conventions into an art gallery-inspired living experience. The design's cornerstone is its innovative interpretation of the painting Jeux Immateriels, which serves as both inspiration and focal point, greeting visitors immediately upon elevator entry. The interior architecture is characterized by its sculptural qualities, incorporating undulating marble wall panels that create a sense of gentle movement throughout the space, complemented by dynamic ceiling designs that manipulate light and shadow. The project showcases exceptional material execution, utilizing advanced 3D modeling and CNC calculation techniques for precise marble cutting and installation, resulting in seamlessly integrated architectural elements. The 3.5-meter-high spaces are thoughtfully crafted to balance the display of art collections while maintaining functional living areas, with carefully considered lighting design that enhances both the architectural features and displayed artworks. This sophisticated residential project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates remarkable innovation in residential interior design through its museum-quality spatial planning, meticulous attention to material detail, and harmonious integration of art and living spaces.
