Happy Hour Spinning bike room is an innovative interior design project that revolutionizes the traditional spinning exercise space concept through creative use of geometric elements and reflective surfaces. Located in New Taipei City, Taiwan, this 92-square-meter facility accommodates 25 people and represents a remarkable transformation of a conventional narrow Taiwanese building structure into an expansive, visually dynamic exercise environment. The design employs strategic placement of 150-centimeter diameter circular mirrors to create an infinite visual effect, effectively breaking through spatial limitations while establishing a distinct architectural aesthetic. The interior features a sophisticated combination of recovered materials, including repurposed light steel frame structures finished in black, diffuser plates for ambient lighting, and eco-friendly dark blue paint complemented by neon lighting elements that generate a psychedelic atmosphere. A lightning-shaped sign at the entrance symbolizes athletic vigor, while a thoughtfully positioned glass partition separates the exercise and seating areas. The space is designed to deliver a multisensory experience, synchronizing visual and auditory elements to enhance the spinning workout experience. This innovative approach to fitness facility design earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its creative solution to spatial constraints and its successful integration of sustainable materials with contemporary design elements.
