The establishment's design philosophy draws profound inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of Shunde, where 'Haocai' symbolizes good fortune, festivity, and vibrant colors, expertly interpreted through an array of traditional lanterns, cultural motifs, and multilayered materials. The architectural narrative unfolds across three distinct levels, each thoughtfully conceived to enhance the dining experience while paying homage to cultural elements. The ground floor welcomes guests with a dramatic entrance, while the second floor features an innovative bar area that transforms traditional Shunde cuisine into a modern dining experience, incorporating a distinctive double-layer phoenix boat design that doubles as a functional wine rack. The third floor houses private dining spaces inspired by Shunde fish lanterns, arranged in a scattered pattern that efficiently addresses spatial constraints while maintaining aesthetic harmony. The design employs sophisticated architectural elements including yellow-stained stairs supported by handrail beams, creating a dragon-like ascension effect, while acrylic-imitated glazed bricks and strategically placed glass elements in the ceiling generate mesmerizing reflections that contribute to a surreal atmospheric quality. This Silver A' Design Award-winning project successfully addresses the challenge of appealing to younger demographics while preserving cultural authenticity, utilizing elements such as the phoenix motif, which serves both as an auspicious symbol and a reference to Shunde's nickname, effectively creating a space that bridges traditional heritage with contemporary dining expectations.
