Hangzhou Neobio Family Park

Hangzhou Neobio Family Park

Hangzhou Neobio Family Park is an innovative family-oriented recreational and educational facility spanning 8,000 square meters, designed by renowned architect Li Xiang and completed in 2018. This groundbreaking interior space represents a revolutionary approach to family entertainment centers within shopping mall environments, featuring four distinct functional zones meticulously crafted to accommodate various age groups and interests. The design seamlessly integrates entertainment, education, and relaxation spaces through a sophisticated layout that promotes parent-child interaction. The facility's architectural composition includes a reading area with multifunctional structures serving as both bookshelves and climbing elements, an occupational experience zone featuring abstracted stone elements forming a miniature town, and a comprehensive rest area distinguished by parasol-shaped structures that define different functional spaces. The design's innovative approach to space utilization is particularly evident in its integration with the mall's atrium, offering visibility from multiple floors while maintaining strategic crowd flow management through a single exit point. The project, which earned the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2019, demonstrates exceptional achievement in combining aesthetic excellence with practical functionality. The design's unique approach to transforming traditional retail space into an interactive family environment showcases forward-thinking solutions for modern shopping mall evolution, emphasizing transparent materials and thoughtfully designed furniture that enables parental supervision while maintaining an engaging atmosphere for children.
