Haji Villa Residential House

Haji Villa Residential House

Haji Villa Residential House is a distinguished residential architecture project located in Lonavala, India, exemplifying a harmonious blend of rustic charm and modern design sensibilities. This 5000-square-foot weekend retreat, designed by architect Behzad Kharas, showcases innovative spatial planning and thoughtful integration of leisure amenities within a compact footprint. The villa features five bedrooms, a plunge pool, multi-purpose court, party lawn, theatre room, open-air jacuzzi, basement, and terraces, all meticulously arranged to ensure privacy and optimal functionality. The architectural composition employs a sophisticated material palette including basalt, kota stone, flamed granite for exterior surfaces, complemented by warm interior elements such as wood, custom wall cladding, and marble. The design's distinctive character is enhanced through unique features such as wooden glo panels and metal bowl wall murals, creating compelling focal points throughout the space. The pristine white exterior with subtle grey accents establishes a contemporary aesthetic, while the interior spaces are enriched with a carefully curated color scheme incorporating bottle green, maroon, yellow ochre, deep orange, and aqua green, harmoniously balanced with beige and grey tones. The project, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional consideration for local climate conditions and cultural requirements, particularly in its thoughtful arrangement of social spaces and the implementation of privacy measures such as vertical green walls. The customized furniture design emphasizes simplicity and low maintenance, perfectly aligning with the property's function as a weekend residence while maintaining sophisticated aesthetic standards.
