Haier Golden Banyan Trophy Award

Haier Golden Banyan Trophy Award

Haier Golden Banyan Trophy Award is a meticulously crafted recognition symbol that embodies the profound symbolism of the banyan tree, a sacred Asian botanical icon, transformed into a contemporary award design. Created by a prominent Chinese design team, this trophy stands 280mm tall with dimensions of 100mm x 60mm, featuring an innovative interpretation of the banyan tree's expanding growth pattern and life force through its physical form. The design employs sophisticated centrifugal casting technology utilizing lead-tin alloy as its base material, finished with gold electroplating to achieve both structural integrity and visual elegance. The trophy's design philosophy draws deep inspiration from the banyan tree's natural ability to extend its canopy through aerial roots, metaphorically representing entrepreneurial growth and team achievement. This symbolic connection is masterfully executed through modern design language while preserving the traditional significance of the banyan tree in Asian culture. The trophy, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Award, Trophy, Prize and Competition Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to material selection and manufacturing processes, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and structural durability. The design successfully overcomes the challenge of translating a complex natural form into a contemporary award piece, resulting in a trophy that resonates deeply with recipients while maintaining its functional purpose as a symbol of recognition.
