Gummed Tape For Stationery Or Household Use

Gummed tape, also known as water-activated tape or gum tape, is a type of adhesive tape that is commonly used for stationery or household purposes. This type of tape is made of a paper backing that is coated with a water-activated adhesive on one side. When moistened, the adhesive becomes sticky and can be used to seal envelopes, packages, or other paper products. Gummed tape is a popular choice for stationery and household use because it provides a secure and long-lasting seal. Unlike other types of adhesive tape, gummed tape is not affected by temperature changes or humidity, which can cause other types of tape to lose their adhesive properties. Additionally, gummed tape is easy to use and can be cut to any size or shape. There are several types of gummed tape available for stationery and household use. One common type is reinforced gummed tape, which has a layer of fiberglass or other reinforcing material embedded in the paper backing. This type of tape is especially strong and durable, making it ideal for sealing heavy packages or boxes. Another type of gummed tape is colored gummed tape, which is available in a variety of colors and patterns. This type of tape is often used for decorative purposes or to add a personal touch to envelopes or packages. Overall, gummed tape is a versatile and reliable adhesive tape that is commonly used for stationery and household purposes. Its unique water-activated adhesive provides a strong and long-lasting seal, making it an ideal choice for sealing envelopes, packages, or other paper products.
