Guangfei Cloud Sea Art Device
Guangfei Cloud Sea Art device is an innovative architectural lighting installation that seamlessly integrates artistic expression with functional illumination, created by designer Yun-Lun Chang and team. This sophisticated art installation, spanning 72.6 square meters, transforms a semi-outdoor café space into an ethereal environment inspired by celestial themes including galaxies, first light, and cloud formations. The installation's structural integrity is achieved through a carefully engineered system of steel supports and flexible steel netting, overlaid with meticulously applied organic cotton to create a cloud-like aesthetic effect. The design incorporates waterproof LED lighting systems, strategically separated from combustible materials through innovative engineering solutions, creating a safe yet visually striking atmosphere. The installation's distinctive aesthetic combines dreamy gold, pink, and mint green hues, establishing an immersive environment that encourages social interaction and photography. This exemplary piece of environmental design, which garnered the Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional craftsmanship and technical innovation in its execution. The installation's success lies in its ability to transform commercial space into an experiential destination, effectively merging artistic vision with practical functionality while addressing crucial safety considerations through sophisticated engineering solutions.
