This sophisticated unbound publication, designed by visual communicator Akshita Chandra, consists of eight individual dynamic artworks housed within a meticulously crafted clamshell box measuring 10.7 by 12.8 inches. The work demonstrates exceptional craftsmanship through its entirely hand-cut and hand-assembled construction, featuring interactive elements such as movable parts, tabs, and openable doors that engage viewers in a participatory narrative experience. Each artwork draws profound parallels between traditional fairy tale morals and contemporary Indian social issues, examining how cautionary tales have evolved into restrictive social constructs.
