Green Light Forest Ecology Exhibition

Green Light Forest Ecology Exhibition

Green Light Forest Ecology Exhibition is an innovative ecological museum and educational facility situated at an elevation of 2,000 meters in a National Forest Park, designed to showcase the rich biodiversity and natural heritage of South Western China's high-elevation forest ecosystems. This Silver A' Design Award-winning exhibition space, spanning 900 square meters across two stories, masterfully integrates traditional cultural elements with contemporary design principles through its distinctive flowing ribbon concept, which draws inspiration from local fairy legends. The exhibition employs a sophisticated color-coded system to guide visitors through four primary themes: forest formation, local habitat diversity, geological features, and environmental conservation. The design overcomes significant architectural challenges through innovative solutions, including ceiling-mounted cantilever exhibition elements and the integration of advanced technological features such as laser projectors, LED displays, and interactive sensors. The space accommodates more than 30,000 monthly visitors and incorporates sustainable design practices while featuring cutting-edge exhibition technologies, including interactive floor displays, window comics, and seasonal projection mappings. The exhibition's design brilliantly addresses spatial constraints through the strategic use of PVC crystal membranes and modular fabrication techniques, creating an immersive educational environment that successfully balances aesthetic appeal with functional requirements while serving as a crucial platform for environmental education and natural resource preservation awareness.
