Grandes De Apiane Wine Bottle

Grandes De Apiane Wine Bottle

Grandes de Apiane Wine Bottle is an innovative wine packaging design that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of aesthetic elegance and functional design in contemporary wine packaging. Created in 2015, this distinctive bottle features a creative structural design that departs from traditional cabernet and burgundy bottle shapes, incorporating a sophisticated embossing pattern inspired by the verdant vineyard hills surrounding the winery. The bottle's dimensions of 80mm x 313mm with a 75cl capacity are carefully engineered to maintain optimal wine preservation while presenting an aesthetically pleasing silhouette. The design process began with hand-drawn sketches that were later refined through 3D structural engineering programs, with particular attention paid to addressing the technical challenges of glass manufacturing and demolding requirements. The bottle's premium presentation is enhanced through multiple sophisticated design elements, including elegant typography, hot foil stamping, and relief silk-screen printing on the label, creating a cohesive visual narrative that reflects the wine's distinctive character. The project, which was completed in June 2015, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in both its structural and graphic elements, earning recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category for its innovative approach and technical excellence. The design successfully integrates natural elements through its vegetal embossing pattern while maintaining a modern, sophisticated aesthetic that elevates the wine's market presence and brand identity.
