Grace Residence

Grace Residence

Grace Residence is an exemplary residential interior design project completed in Taiwan in 2022, showcasing a sophisticated blend of functionality and aesthetic refinement across its 247.9 square meters. The design, conceived by Hung-Hui Lu, demonstrates a masterful approach to contemporary living spaces through its thoughtful integration of dark gray color palettes accented with gold and snowflake mineral slabs, creating an understated yet luxurious atmosphere. The residence encompasses three bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, and four bathrooms, with particular attention paid to feng shui principles and spatial optimization. Notable design elements include a semi-open TV wall that ingeniously separates the study room from the living area, while moru glass installations and hidden sliding doors maintain privacy without compromising the space's fluid connectivity. The project's distinctive features include an innovative kitchen island crafted with Indian black antique surfaces, a metallic lacquered wine cabinet, and strategically embedded lighting in gray glass elements. The design successfully addresses complex architectural challenges, such as the management of large structural beams and irregular spatial configurations, through creative solutions including marble vista walls and transparent glass treatments. This residential project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, particularly excels in its attention to detail and consideration of the clients' professional background in finance, incorporating elements that symbolize success and prosperity while maintaining a balance between privacy and social gathering spaces.
