Grace Courtesy Notability Sales Office is an innovative interior architectural project that masterfully transforms a traditional commercial space into a contemplative environment embodying ancient Chinese religious ceremonial aesthetics, located in Fengtai, Beijing. This 693-square-meter interior space, designed by Cheng Wang and Yongjie Lee, draws profound inspiration from the historical significance of Beijing as the capital of the Jin Dynasty in 1153, particularly incorporating elements from the surrounding city wall ruins. The design employs sophisticated architectural elements including a 22-meter-long skyline without reinforcement point suspension, seamless metal plate processing, and advanced glass fiber tube light guide technology. The space features distinctive materials such as fish-maw-grey stone, PU stone leather, yarn acrylic, wood, and gradient acrylic lighting, creating an atmosphere that perfectly balances momentum and introversion characteristic of Oriental architecture. The project, which earned a Golden A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, successfully overcomes the challenges of a single-storey building with limited natural light by implementing an innovative city wall concept that integrates fragmented spaces. The design incorporates a symbolic city river and strategic wall openings, establishing interconnected spaces that flow naturally while maintaining cultural significance. The project's execution demonstrates exceptional attention to spatial optimization, utilizing AI algorithms for space segmentation and scheme generation, resulting in a harmonious blend of traditional Chinese imperial architectural elements with contemporary design sensibilities.
