Gorgeous Order Residential House

Gorgeous Order Residential House

Gorgeous Order Residential House is an exemplary residential architectural project completed in 2018 in Taipei city, distinguished by its harmonious integration of neoclassical design principles with contemporary functionality. This sophisticated dwelling, designed by Lo Chung Yang, encompasses approximately 430 square feet of meticulously crafted living space that seamlessly blends interior and exterior elements through extensive use of glass facades and thoughtful spatial planning. The design philosophy emphasizes the symbiotic relationship between human habitation and natural surroundings, incorporating sustainable materials such as locally-sourced marble from eastern Taiwan, wire-brushed wood veneer, and eco-friendly finishes throughout. The interior space features a striking geometric configuration adorned with low-intensity color schemes, while the high-ceiling structure creates an atmosphere of unlimited spatial freedom. Notable design elements include a gracefully curved staircase crafted from marble and wood, creating visual tension through its fluid form and classic black and white palette. The public areas are characterized by eastern Taiwanese marble flooring, which introduces natural textures and regional character to the space. The innovative approach to the living area replaces conventional television wall arrangements with a lower profile design, allowing the extensive outdoor views to serve as a natural backdrop. This residential project, which won a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, exemplifies excellence in sustainable luxury living through its meticulous attention to detail, sophisticated material selection, and harmonious balance between classical architectural elements and modern functionality.
