Goldilocks Personal Locker

Goldilocks Personal Locker

Goldilocks Personal Locker is an innovative security solution that represents a groundbreaking advancement in the domain of home security, specifically designed to address the contemporary needs of protecting everyday valuables. This compact vault system, which won the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Security Products category, introduces a novel approach to personal security by striking an optimal balance between convenience and protection. Distinguished by its sophisticated design and user-centric functionality, the system features a motion sensor alarm technology that eliminates the traditional requirement for permanent installation, allowing for flexible placement while maintaining security integrity. The unit, measuring 286mm in width, 302mm in depth, and 78mm in height, incorporates an invisible touch panel interface that illuminates only during use, cleverly disguising its security purpose by resembling a common router. This intentional design choice enables the device to remain inconspicuous while maintaining high accessibility for frequently used items such as wallets, mobile phones, and jewelry. The system's innovative features include external terminals for backup power access, ensuring continuous operation even during battery failure, while its comprehensive security measures protect against unauthorized removal through an intelligent motion-sensing system that can be temporarily disabled for intentional relocation. The design, which emerged from extensive user research and behavioral studies, particularly addresses the security concerns in environments with frequent domestic staff access, offering a practical solution that bridges the gap between high-security safes and the need for quick access to daily valuables.
