Golden Shower By Chinchin Bar & Lounge

Golden Shower by Chinchin Bar & Lounge is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies luxurious contemporary hospitality design within a heritage shophouse setting. This sophisticated establishment, spanning 22 feet by 130 feet, masterfully combines minimalist aesthetics with classical elements to create an exclusive and seductive atmosphere. The design's distinctive characteristic lies in its bold color palette, featuring predominant pink hues complemented by glamorous gold finishes, creating a harmonious balance between opulence and refinement. The focal point of the space is an innovative oblong bar counter, enhanced by an oversized custom-made hanging display finished in gold spray paint, which required significant engineering considerations to integrate with the existing timber frame structure. The interior's design philosophy embraces a human-centric approach while maintaining a strong aesthetic identity, demonstrated through careful space planning and intentional zoning that maximizes the narrow shophouse layout. This Silver A' Design Award-winning project, completed in 2019, showcases exceptional attention to detail in its material selection, particularly in the custom-designed mild steel features and carefully curated pink fabrics that contribute to its cohesive design narrative. The three-month transformation of this pre-war shophouse resulted in a distinctive hospitality venue that successfully merges contemporary luxury with historical architecture, setting new standards in F&B interior design.
