Glory Mansion Villa Villa

Glory Mansion Villa Villa

Glory Mansion Villa Villa is an award-winning residential interior design project located in Hangzhou, China, completed in August 2019, encompassing 284 square meters of living space that masterfully blends contemporary modernism with oriental aesthetics. The design, created by Zhou Wei and Zhu Jing, demonstrates a sophisticated approach to luxury urban living by emphasizing the beauty of simplicity and daily life experiences. Drawing inspiration from the undulating mountains and rivers of the region, the space articulates oriental literary sentiments through thoughtful spatial composition and material selection. The interior features a carefully curated palette dominated by haze gray tones, softened by warm textures that create an elegant atmosphere. Notable design elements include geometrical art chandeliers, clean-lined furniture, and traditional brush paintings that harmoniously merge modern and oriental design languages. The space is punctuated with carefully selected ornamental pieces, including a fisherman sculpture, exquisite bird cage, and wooden carvings, which serve as markers of daily life experiences. The project, which won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design category in 2020, is particularly distinguished by its successful integration of a Dobermann's living space within the design, reflecting the sophisticated lifestyle of urban elites while maintaining a cozy and pleasant atmosphere. The design philosophy emphasizes the elevation of ordinary moments to extraordinary experiences, avoiding overly complex decorative approaches in favor of authentic living spaces that resonate with emotional depth.
