Glimpse Of Floating Lights Interior Design
Glimpse of Floating Lights Interior Design is an innovative interior space design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of light, reflection, and spatial manipulation in contemporary retail exhibition design. Created by designer Jia Hao Lai, this 200-square-meter exhibition and sales center employs a sophisticated 'no ego' concept that prioritizes product presentation through carefully orchestrated lighting and reflective surfaces. The design philosophy draws inspiration from the oriental Tai Chi principles of yin and yang, manifesting in the interplay between floating light elements and reflective surfaces to create a futuristic aesthetic environment. The space utilizes mirror materials strategically to achieve perfect edges for booths, chairs, walls, and ceilings, effectively maximizing the perceived spatial dimensions while creating an illusion of floating displays. Through precise control of color temperature and illuminance, the design creates a sophisticated atmosphere that enhances product visibility while maintaining a comfortable viewing environment. The layout incorporates a separate negotiation room featuring aluminum doors and windows that simulate a residential setting, allowing consumers to experience products in context. This Iron A' Design Award-winning project, completed in August 2022 in Taichung, demonstrates exceptional innovation in retail space design through its integration of technology, aesthetics, and functionality, while maintaining a strong focus on creating memorable customer experiences through the careful manipulation of light and space.
