Gleaming Dimension Residence

Gleaming Dimension Residence

Gleaming Dimension Residence is an innovative interior design project completed in 2021 in Macau, exemplifying contemporary luxury living through its distinctive interpretation of crystalline geometry and light. The 234-square-meter residential space, designed by Clement Tung Jeun Cheng, draws profound inspiration from the structural and optical properties of diamonds, incorporating their cubic crystal structure and light-refracting characteristics into architectural elements. The design philosophy centers on the interplay between gleam and dimension, utilizing lines, squares, cubes, tesseracts, and geometric shapes to create a visually dynamic environment that transcends mere comfort to become a symbol of refined status. The interior's sophisticated approach features a thoughtfully curated color palette dominated by lighter tones, accented with darker elements and champagne gold highlights to create visual depth and contrast. Notable for its environmental consciousness, the design eschews traditional marble in favor of carefully selected wallpapers and synthetic leathers, achieving luxurious aesthetics while minimizing ecological impact. The space is characterized by its innovative partitioning, particularly evident in the entrance-dining room junction, where multi-layered design elements create an intricate interplay of lines, shapes, and lighting. Large windows are preserved to maximize natural illumination, while the geometric patterns inspired by diamond cuts are consistently applied throughout the walls, ceilings, and entrances, creating a cohesive design narrative. This exceptional residential project, recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2022, demonstrates a masterful balance between aesthetic sophistication and practical functionality, setting new standards in contemporary residential design.
