Glamorous Uniformity Residence

Glamorous Uniformity Residence

Glamorous Uniformity Residence is an award-winning residential interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of contrasting elements within a contemporary living space. Located in Taichung, Taiwan, this 81-square-meter residence masterfully demonstrates the design philosophy of dweller comes first, space comes second through its thoughtful transformation of a standard three-bedroom apartment into a more spacious and functional living environment. The design, created by Jung Chi Hsu, showcases a sophisticated interplay between warm and cold color tones, incorporating mysterious black mirror surfaces, pristine white stone, and soft fabric wallpapers to achieve a refined aesthetic of understated luxury. The project's distinctive features include an impressive entrance marked by dark metallic cabinetry extending to the ceiling, complemented by an elegant white marble niche that previews the luxurious marble kitchen island beyond. The innovative spatial reconfiguration combines two bedrooms into a generous master suite with an integrated dressing room, while merging the previously separated kitchen and dining areas into an open-plan living space. The design employs advanced materials and techniques, including Japanese HDP High Density Printing metal plates, melanin board, and modular cabinets with fabric textures, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship. Environmental consciousness is reflected in the selection of sustainable materials, including low-formaldehyde components and energy-efficient LED lighting. This outstanding achievement in interior design was recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in spatial planning, material selection, and innovative design solutions.
