Ginkgo Swan Lake Signage System

Ginkgo Swan Lake Signage System

Ginkgo Swan Lake Signage System is an innovative wayfinding and environmental graphics solution that harmoniously integrates natural elements with functional design, created specifically for a themed park centered around ginkgo trees. The design concept draws inspiration from the graceful forms of swans and the distinctive shape of ginkgo leaves, incorporating these elements into a comprehensive signage system that serves both aesthetic and practical purposes. The system employs sophisticated steel plate hollowing techniques to create dynamic interplays of light and shadow, ensuring optimal visibility during both day and night conditions. Distinguished by its minimalist aesthetic approach, the system features a series of custom-designed icons that incorporate wave-like patterns, reflecting the aquatic theme while maintaining clear information hierarchy. The design's technical execution demonstrates particular innovation in concealing light source components without compromising the pure geometric forms of the structures. This sophisticated balance of form and function earned the project an Iron A' Design Award in the Street and City Furniture Design category, recognizing its contribution to environmental design. The system's implementation creates intuitive navigation pathways throughout the park space, while its material selection of durable stainless steel ensures longevity and weather resistance. The design successfully conveys the park's themes of purity, tranquility, and timelessness through its thoughtful integration of natural motifs and modern fabrication techniques, establishing a cohesive visual language that enhances the overall visitor experience while serving essential wayfinding functions.
