Gift Of Sun Residence

Gift Of Sun Residence

Gift of Sun Residence is an award-winning residential interior design project that exemplifies modern minimalist aesthetics through its sophisticated use of gray tones and industrial elements. Located in Taiwan and completed in 2021, this 92.5-square-meter living space demonstrates exceptional spatial planning through its transformation into a three-bedroom residence with integrated living, dining, and specialized functional areas. The design's distinguishing features include its masterful manipulation of various gray shades, creating subtle visual transitions throughout the space, complemented by innovative material combinations such as cement special coating, iron elements, and glass components. The project showcases remarkable attention to detail in its architectural elements, incorporating black groove fine lines on the ceiling to minimize beam proportions and harmonize spatial volumes. The interior's sophisticated storage solutions include suspended cabinetry with grille systems that reduce visual weight while maintaining functionality. Notable design elements include the cement-textured wall treatments that not only fulfill aesthetic requirements but also serve practical purposes through their eco-friendly, durable properties. The residence's thoughtful layout modifications, including the conversion of a standard room into a dressing area and the strategic reduction of kitchen space for optimal functionality, demonstrate exceptional space optimization. This design, recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, represents a successful integration of client preferences with professional design expertise, achieving a balance between industrial aesthetics and modern comfort while working within budget constraints.
