Gestural Navigation

Gestural Navigation is a way for people to move around and control mobile apps by swiping, tapping, pinching, or dragging on the screen with their fingers. In mobile UX, designers can use edge-based gestures, like swiping from the side of the screen, to help users go back or open menus without using visible buttons. Some apps use context-sensitive gestures, which means the same swipe can do different things depending on where the user is in the app. Designers often add short animations or visual hints to show what a gesture will do, making the experience smoother and more predictable for users. Using haptic feedback, like a small vibration, can give users a quick signal that their gesture worked.
