Geometric Clinic

Geometric Clinic

Geometric Clinic is an award-winning dental healthcare facility design that exemplifies the harmonious integration of professional functionality with sophisticated aesthetics. The interior design scheme employs a thoughtfully curated low-color palette, utilizing various shades of gray and diverse material textures to create an atmosphere that balances professional credibility with elegant comfort. Designed by Mark Han and Queenie Gan, the space features distinctive architectural elements including diagonal cutting patterns and curved glass partitions that create a dynamic visual narrative while maintaining practical functionality. The facility's layout demonstrates particular attention to accessibility and privacy considerations, incorporating spacious independent clinics that accommodate wheelchair users and privacy-conscious patients. The entrance area showcases a sophisticated theme wall combining three distinct materials - marble, gray mirror, and cloth texture wallpaper - creating a layered visual experience that sets the tone for the entire space. The design successfully addresses the complex challenge of integrating various medical equipment from different manufacturers while maintaining aesthetic cohesion through the strategic use of screens and workbench designs. The project, which won the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, exemplifies innovative space utilization through its careful consideration of both patient and healthcare provider workflows. The design's attention to lighting, material selection, and spatial organization creates an environment that helps reduce patient anxiety while facilitating efficient medical service delivery, demonstrating how thoughtful interior design can enhance the healthcare experience.
