Gamuda Academy Training centre, learning centre is an innovative architectural transformation project that converted 32,000 square feet of aging commercial space into a dynamic, modern learning hub. This Iron A' Design Award-winning project exemplifies the successful adaptation of existing urban infrastructure for contemporary educational purposes, featuring a sophisticated blend of interactive, collaborative, and flexible design elements. The facility encompasses nine training rooms accommodating 20-40 participants each, specialized computer rooms, a library, management offices, and various communal spaces, all designed to foster creative learning and professional development. The design philosophy integrates three key concepts: interactivity, collaboration, and flexibility, manifested through thoughtful spatial planning and innovative material selections. Notable design features include acoustic treatments using green-labeled carpets and cellulose-fiber panels, magnetic and dry-erasable wall surfaces for spontaneous ideation, and modular furniture systems that facilitate diverse learning configurations. The space incorporates inclusive design principles, featuring accessibility accommodations and specialized areas for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), demonstrating a commitment to social responsibility in architectural design. The transformation employs urban-inspired materials, creative common areas, and innovative seminar rooms, creating an environment that particularly resonates with younger generations while maintaining professional functionality.
